Directory of Organizations - Submit a Listing Is my organization eligible for a listing? What information will I need? Start your submission Resume working on a previous submission What Types of Organizations are Eligible? To qualify for a listing in the Directory, your organization must be engaged in research and development in edu cational management, or provide a service to the educational management profession or a segment of it ("service s" may include disseminating information, providing training or consultation, promoting the exhange of ideas, a nd so forth). Organizations operating for profit are excluded. Educational management is defined to include all aspects of the governance, leadership, administration, and str ucture of public and private educational organizations. The Directory covers educational management at the elem entary and secondary levels. Organizations that focus only indirectly or secondarily on educational management may still qualify for inclusion in the Directory. In such cases, only the subject areas and publications pertaining directly to educational management will be listed. If you have a website, please give us your URL so we can direct users to your site. We install links from our website to all the organizations in the Directory. When you start your submission, you will be guided through the process of entering information to create a new listing in the Online Directory of Organizations in Educational Management. Please be sure you have all the rel evant information on hand before you begin the process. After you have completed all the information, your list ing will be reviewed by our staff. We will then fax or email you your listing for approval. Your listing will < B>not be updated until we receive your approval by email, fax, telephone, or mail. Before you begin your Directory Submission, you should have the following information on hand: Contact information Name of Director/CEO Description of your organization's purpose List of subject areas in which your organization specializes List of topics your most recent publications have dealt with List of your periodicals Description of the public services your organization offers The geographical area in which these services are offered Start your submission The first step in the process of adding or editing a listing is to find out if your organization is already in our database. Even if your organization does not appear in the Online Directory of Organizations, we may have p artial information on file. If this is the case, you will be given the opportunity to edit this information. Type the name of your organization in the text box below, then click on the Start button.
