Policy Reports
In spring 2000 the Clearinghouse published the first issue of a new series of Policy Reports, which will examine policy issues and options on critical topics in K-12 educational management.
Each report will present a variety of informationresearch findings, descriptions of exemplary practices, policy options, financial data, and consequences (expected and unexpected) of policy implementationsin a style of writing and a format that are easily accessible to policymakers at local, state, and federal levels.
The reports will give voice to a wide range of viewpoints and sometimes conflicting policy recommendations. The scope will be broad, embracing policies at the school, district, state, and national levels.
Policy Reports, published annually, will be of particular interest to school board members, state legislators, state department of education officials, and policy analysts in public and private institutions.
