In-Process Abstracts for Documents and Journal Articles Not Yet Available in the ERIC Database

Search In-Process Abstracts

Search field:    Display per page
For the text:
In-Process Abstracts are the résumés of documents and journal articles we have recently processed. They are listed here during the time between the completion of our processing and their addition to the ERIC database. Up to six months can elapse between the time we index and abstract a document and the date that document's résumé appears on a searchable CD-ROM. Using the form below, you may search the résumés of documents and articles that we have recently prepared and shipped to the ERIC Facility for processing into the ERIC database. We add new résumés weekly, and delete them once they appear on CD-ROMs, which are produced quarterly by Dialog, Silver Platter, and other vendors. Caution: These résumés are the raw data that the ERIC Facility uses to compose additions to the ERIC database. The Facility may change some of the data before publication and may even delete résumés that are duplicates or have other problems. In other words, appearance of a résumé here does not guarantee that the document or journal article will be added to the ERIC database. Availability: Copies of the original documents and journal articles are not available from us, nor are they available from the ERIC Document Reproduction Service (EDRS) until they enter the ERIC database. If you need a copy of a particular document or journal article before it becomes available from EDRS, you should contact the publisher if one is cited in the résumé.
