1.
Choose what field you want to search
If you choose "All", your search will not be limited to a particular field. If you choose "Title", "Author" or other option, your search will only return records that have the text you specified in that field. For example, if you specify "Title", and type "Leadership" in the text box, only abstracts with the word "Leadership" in the title will be found.
2.
Type the text you want to find
By default, when you type in more than one word in the text box, the search engine searches all the words, but in no particular order. This means that if you type Educational Leadership in the text box, the search engine will find all records with both Educational AND Leadership. This could include records with titles like Political Leadership and Educational Failure as well as titles like The Politics of Educational Leadership. To broaden the search, you may wish to type education leader, which would find records that included words like educational and leadership, as well as education and leader. To search instead for the exact phrase Educational Leadership, enclose the words in double quotes --
Educational Leadership.
